Space Ground Rods 6' apart, use 12-14 ga. galvanized or copper wire to interconnect ground rods.
Drill rods into soil to just below jam nut/washers. Avoid dry sand or rocky soil. Damp clay or black soil types are best. Add water to rods in dry soil conditions.
Place first rod close to front of fencer, and then place adjacent ground rods left and right of center ground rod equally. This makes a parallel ground bed which is optimal for performance and lightning protection.
